PEEK is a colourless organic thermoplastic polymer from the PAEK family, used in engineering applications. PEEK was initially manufactured in 1977 by imperial Chemical Industries (ICI), 3 years later the commercialisation of PEEK polymers, including glass and carbon filled products began.
